Streamline refinance programs are for the purpose of lowering
interest rates and monthly mortgage payments alone. They cannot
be used for cash out or debt consolidation purposes. Borrower
must have one 30-day mortgage late or less over the past 12
months to qualify. Amount of monthly payment cannot increase by
$50 per month when refinancing from a 30-year fixed to a 15-year
fixed program. Due to the fact mortgage payments cannot be
financed into new loans no monthly payments are
